There are a lot of generalities in every discussion on RTOS here, please have a look.

Yet I have not seen a single "success story".

THIS fact makes me believe that the % of cases where benefits of RTOS usage on '51 outweights the difficulties is infinitesimally small.

I would take Ian's quote as a general statement to close each and every forthcoming RTOS-on-'51 discussion.
