You object to the name because you don't understand what it means.

There is nothing "real" about a URTOS. The only thing a URTOS accomplishes is that one so called task does not hog the processor.


See what I mean? Ah, no, I didn't think so.

There is no connection between 'real time' and 'fast'. Real time means 'deterministic'. Do you understand that?
