It does run bit-banging protocols at full speed, breakpoints or not. Of course, IT STOPS at BREAKPOINTS, just as it should!

Of what use is a breakpoint, if it doesn't stop and let you "look around?" That's what you want! Run is full-speed. Breakpoint is dead-stopped.

I doubt that an ICE can do any more for you than that. After all, it doesn't know what you may want to examine, so it has to wait for your input. It's perfectly reasonable.
