Absolutely not in Keil's case. It can't even get the simple things right...

I think that there are lot of people who would disagree with your absolute assessment of the Keil tools.

tools differ ... and I am sure, had I the time, I could generate 'examples' that would make ANY toolset shine as well as 'examples' that would make ANY toolset look miserable.

I believe that a lot of the 'anti Keil' attitude comes from the fact that to get use of the product you have to get the full version, which, makes Keil unpopular in the "I want money for my efforts, why should the toolmakers get paid for theirs" camp.
