#111311 - AT89S52 signature |
Hi everyone i´m new here, but been reading for a long time.
I have a little problem with my AT89S52. Using the flash programmer from Asim Khan (v3.0 and v3.7) i can´t get the correct signature. Actually i´m reading 1F 53 07. If you look carefully you´ll find that the difference is only in the LSB that is a 1 when it should be a 0. Besides that i can program, read, program lock bits and the uc is working fine. I have a question about this. When i was trying different programmers i tried the Ponyprog. I used it to program the AT89S52 but later i found that pony-prog didn´t support it and actually was the AT89S8252 (of course it always gave error). Do you think that ponyprog could change the signature bytes of my AT89S52? I´m sure the first time i run the programmer from Asim (before ponyprog) the signature was red ok. What do you think? I think it´s strange. Perhaps i´ll write a simple program to read the signature just in case Asim´s programmer isn´t working fine on my PC. |
