One more doubt, why not 74LS244? Which one do you mean? LS244 for VHC244 or LS244 for HCT244? In first case: LS244 contains pnp-transistors at input. Not clear whether they begin to zener at 5V reverse voltage. In second case: Supply current consumption of HCT244 is lower. Kai |
