#108737 - Guys, take care... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Guys, don't overlook, that a flash micro must see a valid reset when turning its supply voltage on or off! If this rule is violated, either the flash can be corrupted or the lock bits can become enabled again and your competitor can easily have a look at the code!
I don't know which of all discussed programmers here will support this sort of safe programming, but I know that the ATMEL's ISP-programmer does. So, please use it, and with the 74VHC244. Even better is to use this variant http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=103574 With this you will not suffer from TTL levels provided by most printer ports. This option also allows you to turn on and off the supply voltage of target (Vcc), without current flowing from printer port to target. Kai |
