Hi,

I am going to try and seperate the elements as Erik suggested and I will also try what Craig suggested. At the moment my circuit is assembled on a breadboard, so adding an LED will be easy enough.

The reason why I called the 'underscore' on the display an underscore, is because it doesn't flash. I assumed a cursor would flash like it does on my PC. Does the cursor flash on an 8052/LCD setup?

I'll get back to the forum as soon as I've tried some of this stuff out.
