the problem of mapping a logic function by recording its reponse to input signals and treating the logic device as a black box who function you have to find is an example of whats called an NP complete problem.There is no known way of doing it without quesswork and trial and error.This is partly because the number of logic gates can potentaily increase to the square of the number of inputs the presence of registers makes the problem even harder. |
