And you were totally right, if you would apply to the lamp a DC-voltage. But the phase angle control applies pulses or varying lenghts and with the earlier posted correction curve you really get a quasi linear brightness control
Exactly the point: till I posted my post that made Reza post "I am sorry for you,Erik" because he found it "offensive", there was no mentioning of a "correction curve" for light vs power only phase angle vs power.
