I think what you're wanting is to calculate the area under a curve - this is calculus. Assuming a linear angle input, the result is a 's' shaped curve. 90 degrees is half power. This is also assuming your load is purely resistive, if there is any significant inductance and/or capacitance, then things get a lot more complex.
