#112032 - Mains filter is a must!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Reza said:
There isn't any inductor on digital and any filter for mains on power board!

Using a mains filter is a must, because otherwise phase angle control produces huge interference on mains! This is a suited filter:

Take care, it's the current rating of filter choke which defines the maximum current here, although the BTA40 is able to control 40Arms! Current rating of choke must always exceed the current rating of fuse. So, a 12A choke in combination with 10A fuse is ok, but a 8A choke is not!!

Be very careful with the caps of the filter: Only X2-versions must be used!!!

If the maximum load to be controlled by the triac is smaller than 2kW, then you can choose a smaller choke: 1mH/5A (5A fuse) for a 1kW load, 100µH/0.5A (0.5A fuse) for a 100W load, etc.

Take care, chokes can enormously heat up. So, there must be enough air exchange.
