Atmel obviously has a handful of '51 cores available. The "classic" which is in the good old AT89C51/52/2051; the "new" x2, the "scr**d up" in 8253 (a puzzle for me, those SFR bugs), the RD2-ish inherited from Temic (x2, too, but obvioulsy can go higher in clocks).
