You are right, my recommendations and discussions might appear pedantic sometimes, maybe they are actually. And yes, I calculate much, maybe even too much. Hey, I'm a physicist ;-)

Well, I often simply try to give a bit more information than can be read in a standard textbook or databook, information I gained by measurements and simulations. This in order to inform about some eventually unknown facts. But also to learn from other members how they manage these things. From you I learnt, that you take a ferrite bead of nearly identical performance than I do! That surprised me.

I enjoy the discussion with you and others here. A much better approach, than saying: "Farshid, take any ferrite bead, it should work, anyhow." I apologize if I should confuse people with my contributions and might appear untolerable pedantic...
