Most of the 'FB's in stock here are in 0805 and 0603 packages , Yesterday I bought some in 0805 package Their part number was "MLB-201209-0600A-N" ,search on these numbers leads to some component providers. I have hand soldered 0805 and 0603 packages. I used Soldering Iron , these are pretty hard to solder since they are very light and tiny.I don't have any oven or Hot Air to solder These SMTs , I didn't have had any problems so far in soldering SMTs with a fine tip.

From several databooks I learned, that HF performance of SMD ferrite beads is the better the smaller the package is. So, I use ferrite beads in 0603 package (reflow soldering).

But what about the current capability versus the package size ?
I think bigger packages could handle more current ?
