#107516 - I am also in the party
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello all,

There is a small story behind the Zigbee issue. I am doing Zigbee networking as my final year project for Bachelor's. Raghu sir had come to my college for 'alumni' meeting, then only we figured out that Raghu sir is my own college senior! I told him about my project, and things went on then.

Coming back to the subject, well, I am also in need of Chipcon Radio modules. Currently I have only two modules in my college, so I would like to buy atleast 4 more to test the networking part. I have found three such sources, but since all of them are to come from overseas, and we do have lots of procedures in my institution, I would like to get an Indian distrubutor/reseller/importer, so that I can be comfortable with the institution norms:

1) From the horse's mouth: Chipcon's Module, compatible with their evaluation board:

2)UK based firm:

The highlight is, the digital interface pins are brought out thru 1mm connector, so I just need a MCU with SPI to interface.

3)From an US based individual/firm:
http://www.procyonengineering.com/
But the following picture is not available on their website, the guy in-charge, Mr. Pascal Stang posted this on AVR forum. This module is also based on CC2420, with digital pins available for interfacing.(Mr. Stang has also written drivers for this chip for AVR MCUs)

Kalpak's reply is daunting! If this happens to a professional, then I am just a student. Most of the Indian vendors doesnt even care about students and their queries/orders. E-mail is the only cost-effective medium for me to enquire, but almost 9 out of 10 e my mails are not responded properly by them. Am I at the end of the tunnel, or still some light?

Regards,
Vignesh
