Luthra was the fellow who wrote to me that Indians were not worthy of even chip samples when I asked for four Ramtron samples ICs. For that matter he even refused to quote, because the ICs I asked for made him feel that I had no clue about electronic designing.
Take a look at the Micrel RF ICs. Hynetic of Bangalore support for components is good. They even have the odd value crystal you need with the IC, all in Rupees. Microchip is also selling a Chipcon based module for the PIC, but it is costly, around $50. They have Rupee payment dealer in Bombay, Silicon Aids(020 28204419/28384417) |
