The point I was making was directed at the several participants in this forum who, whenever a new problem is presented, try to substitute a problem they know how to solve.
True, there was much information missing from the OP's query, but, clearly, there was a reason why he was using the 8032, probably because he had one, and perhaps even because he already had a physical implementation such as an eval board or the like. Telling him he's using the wrong chip is not helpful. He was asking about using THAT chip, and, true, he'd need to program an eprom, programmers under $20 are not uncommon on eBay and elsewhere. I think it would be really helpful if people would focus on the question asked rather than simply going on about how to solve a different one. RE |
