#105523 - Answers to the point Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I've asked here things and gotten similar answers before and it
is frustrating. I wanted to create a software method to do PWM and was told to simply buy another derivative that has PWM on it. I agree, with you. Many answers given here are not at all to the point! It's nice to use a micro containing all the code flash and RAM, as I do, nearly always. And it's a good idea to tell the OP that there are such chips providing this today. But that's not the point. The point is that the OP has a problem with his ALE/PSEN/EA signals. And there can be thousands of reasons, why he needs to build the device in that way he intends to: Because his teacher told him, because he wants to learn how external memory is adressed, because he plans to address giant memory space, which can only be done by using external chips, etc. etc. etc. I miss answers which specifically help the OP. Recalling the many posts of the past, the most OPs had good reasons to do their projects in just the way they intended to. So, it plays no role what the answerer would use, the point is what the OP needs to use. Kai |
