Well, I don't know how an eraser and programmer would help him if he's using an 8032 which can be neither programmed nor erased.
I think the quickest way to run a newbie off is to tell him how stupid he is for wanting to do what he wants rather than what YOU see as the ideal solution. If he wants to use an 8032 and already believes he's built hardware that should work, perhaps it would have been better to focus him on the fact he's probably assumed an incorrectly attached or missing external memory would be "empty" as he put it, rather than random in content. Nobody seems to have addressed the likely problem he's encountered. Instead, every body trumpeted on about how much better a different problem would be. RE |
