#104989 - Why? you can buy a P89C668 (64k flash/8k
Responding to: ???'s previous message
No I am trying to build a System with erternal ROM/RAM. For that i am using an old 80c32 from TEMIC.
Why? you can buy a P89C668 (64k flash/8k RAM internally) for less than the 3 external chips you intend to add.

i am using an old 80c32 My Problem now is:
when connecting /EA to GROUND, the Oszillator stops completely after a few moments.

Maybe the "old" chip is defective. Often "old" chips are "laying around" because they are bad. I have never see, or seen reported, the problem you describe.

Oh, by the way are you "connecting /EA to GROUND" in the middle of running? that is "undocumented" use of the chip.
