Nice construction, simpler than using the shift registers (the only advantage of using shift registers is in less wires if the LEDs are to be placed on a "chain" rather than on a PCB). Just one note, probably a typo (cut&paste) in your Delay routine you don't clear the TF1 flag (well, runs slightly faster but that's not bad for the "running light"). I think I will implement a similar ping-pong as in your 8-LED design as an another effect (plus the "Knight Rider" one :-) Thanks for the inspiration! Jan Waclawek |
