Well, I don't know about Denmark, but here in The Netherlands we still mainly buy our groceries by the pounds ("pond", = 500g) and ounces ("ons", = 100g). All metric in Mexico; although a lot of containers are clearly based on U.S. containers which are English. So you buy a can of Pepsi here that has 355ml which is, of course, 12 oz.
