Well that's maybe not a bad idea, but how long takes it to start up (configure), e.g. for a moderate 8kB program?
Maybe you could add some self-programming (IAP) functionality, is that possible at all? And what about MOVCs, will they work and how do they affect the pipeline? Oh and the pipeline itself, 3-stage, that's quite a lot, if I estimate the jumps to be 10% of a typical '51 program, could you estimate the speed penalty resulting from it?
