Robin: If I were you I would not just write it the way you did. First off the other parts of this thread have shown that some docs say that the interrupt will only happen when the LEVEL/EDGE is set the correct way. Secondly the fact that various data sheets have no mention about what happens in writing these bits means that you have to check your own derivative to see how it actually works. With the variation of the docs about this point it is for sure that some 8051 clones are likely to be designed different than others. Michael Karas |
