There is also the confusion of char, signed char and unsigned char, which are all different types. For added effect, the compiler gets to choose whether chars default to signed or unsigned, and the programmer gets to override the compiler if necessary. It sound like an esoteric point, but I only know about it because I've been bitten by it.
P.S. The ADSP2100 only supports 24bit ints. |
