#143445 - Use a bridge configuration Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Don't use divider configuration, but use a bridge configuration. Use tree metalized resistors and one thermistor.
Connect a power supply to one cross pair of bridge and any differential inputs ADC +/- do another cross pair. When a thermistor will self heating a resistor in second divider will self heating to, so you will measuere only difference beetwen thermal coefficient thermistor vs resistor. If you want you can use a sinusoidal source as reference, but it makes a circuit more difficult. And you will stay independ of stability of supply source too. Yes a thermistor will still heating itself, but this a typicaly linear, so you can add correction. |
