#143443 - Thermistor Self-heating |
hi to all Mamber,
i am going to design a temperature mesurment using 8052. i have also read the old thread, but i have one question about self heating of thermistor. I have chosen the thermistor with Dissipation constant: 1 mw/degree celsius Maximum Power rating : 30 mw at 25 degree celsius derated to 1 mw at 125 degree celsius. if i want to design simple resistor devider. in which one constant resistance(R) and other is thermistor resistor(Rt). So the Vo= (Vss*Rt)/(Rt+R) The thermistor 10000 ohm At 25 degree celcius. Assum the Vss=5 volt what value of R should select so that my thermistor will not heat. and i privent the self heating.
