Actually, that should be just CR - without LF.

To be really pedantic, it should be, "the command termination character specified by register S3"
(of course, register S3 usually contains 0x0D - for CR!)

It can be set to be "auto detect" as well with the AT command AT+IPR=0<CR><LF>

Again, just CR (no LF)

Note that setting AT+IPR=0 (ie, Autobaud) has some side-effects - particularly regarding messages sent at startup...
