I think you dont need so much code.
Simply make free running of Timer. Set the TL value to
FFh and in ISR put CPL Bit.
This will do as these high speed uCs are not 12clockers
but single clockers.
It may consume 100% of uC time but who cares when reqd.
clock is available ! It is main aim of putting uC. Nothing
else matter!! Ha ! Ha !!
sometimes I wonder if poster of original querry knows
how to make crystal oscillator out of LS, S , ALS or AC gates.
Then one can have 10MHz clock with same frequency crystal- QED.
