#127627 - oscillate and switch-on and -off
Responding to: ???'s previous message

the MOSFET will oscillate and switch-on and -off all the time

Klaas ,

Why latch , this is proportional circuit when the overvoltage condition is gone the zener will switch ON the mosfet else OFF , I cant get the latch idea . How about overvoltage circuit shunts of high current ratings when the over voltage is there let the SCR drive some resistive load instead of blowing fuse ,which needs replacements .

AP

Thanks for Help.
