#124913 - I have no idea about Eclipse, but CodeWright is Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've heard jibberjabber about CodeWright and Eclipse before. What are they , and what, exactly, do they do for us?
I have no idea about Eclipse, but CodeWright is the best darn editor ever made. I know that many will second that statement. CodeWright supposedly has some features that tend to allow it to be used as some kind of an IDE, but here again we have an example of some that are the best in the world at doing something (editor) just having to stick their nose into something else they have no idea how to make right (IDE). Were I to consider using an IDE it would have to be one that in one hour or less could be made to run CodeWright as an editor, my commandfiles for file selection for the 47 variants, the Keil compiler and linker and then whatever ICE that works for the chip I am using for that purpose.
