Since you use those ultra-costly Silabs parts with their ultra-costly analog features that you don't even use, perhaps you could save some $$$ by using a more advanced CPU, e.g. a 100 MIPs ARM with 16 MB of SDRAM and a little FLASH
The topic is Assembler, C or Pascal on the '51 software, not hardware. I mentioned hardware to demonstrate that the software speed was important. As to switching processors: when you have a Time To Market and some very unique assembly code, that is not an option. Erik |
