I'll put Pascal up against C for rigid typing rules, clarity of expression, ease of reading

I have a font in the greek alphabet that is very easy to read.

What good does it do if something is easy to read if the reader does not understand it.

No, I am not saying anything about whether C or Pascal is the best - honestly I do not care - just stating that sometimes you need to bite the bullet and accept what 'the norm' is.

I would hate for you to get incapacitated so the need to find someone that could maintain Pascal for the '51 while you recuperated would come up. Should that happen to me, there would be a far better chance of finding a (temporary) replacement doing C on the '51.
