many "cheap" (I feel nice today) programmers can not handle that Keil (and others) use the fact that the Intel hex standard does not require that the .hex file be sequential. Since many programmers can not handle that, is it possible you have gotten hold of a hex2bin with the same deficiency?. If you search here you will find the discussions and, I seem to recall, there is a reference to a program that "sort" the .hex file.
