#112361 - .bin image when burnt does not function
I use the Flash Magic (ver 2.11 DLL ver 1.76) with the corresponding hardware to flash the P89LPC922FN using the .hex file generated by the licensed version of Raisonance RIDE51 IDE Ver 06.10.19 Build BN737-51. Using the FlashMagic utility the .hex image get flashed and the code works without any problems.
The code that is release to the customer is in binary format. I utilized the tool hex2bin.exe provided by Raisonance to convert the tested .hex file into a .bin image. The customer is using the BP micro 1610 Programmer to flash this binary image released. After the flashing process is done and the controller is tested in the actual environment, it is unresponsive. I need to know why is this so. Is there a problem with the binary image obtained using the hex2bin utility that is causing the code to be unresponsive.

After the customer came back I even tried to verify that the binary image released was non corrupted by reconverting it back to a hex format using the utility bin2hex ( also supplied by Raisonance). Then I took this .hex image and flashed it in our test setup using the FalshMagic utility. On doing so the controller was working perfectly without any issues.

I need to know whether the binary image that is supplied to the customer and that is being used by the BPWin programmer is not in the correct format. Whether it lacks some information that is causing it to be unresponsive after being flashed on the P89LPC922FN controller using the BP Micro 1610 Programmer.
