Don't be shy, we already know it is reverse engineering.

Where do you know this from?? Writing simple code to recieve bits at a Port pin can hardly be considered as "reverse engineering". Even if he has a snipped of code from an AVR application. That's ridiculous. In this case, we all are reversing engineers and code thieves, somehow!

Obviously, Jeff does not have any glue, what he's doing. He can neither read the AVR code, nor can he write simple code for the 80C52. He does not know, whether he is doing somthing synchronous or asynchronous, how high the bitrate is, etc. ect.

It's a mess, that we daily suffer here from people refusing to give us all relevant details to only simply understand, what they intend to do. So, we are blindly guessing and guessing most of the time...

We should change the froum rules: A poster, who gets at least three times the vote "Insufficient" per post, should see his thread being closed. Also, he should get electric shocks via keyboard or mouse, the more and more intense the more "Insufficient" votes he has earned. This should discipline most of these annoying posters who waste our all time. -;)
