thanks for the example, Jon could perhaps include a C-example, but... As I said above, the value of the examples lies in the comments - and this one is not too extensively commented, is it? Also, it contains the typical C-ish showoff, like: rbuf [(rpos+rcnt++) % RBUFLEN] if (busy = xcnt) { /* Assignment, _not_ comparison! */which makes its value as a comprehensible example questionable, especially for those who are newbies generally - it means, both in C and in '51.
