OK, very well, could you then please share the example of yours to comment on and include into Jon's document? Maybe it will be better then Jon's or mine and maybe there is a point to include examples of different approaches.

Jon's document is written for benefit of "those who don't know how" and the value is not in the particular code but the comments and descriptions around it. The code is supposed to be bug-free, of course; but I think the discussion on the comments and descriptions are much more valuable than the code - which can be reproduced relatively easily once you know how, as you said and I fully agree.
