#109614 - re TO MR ERIC and about know-how Responding to: ???'s previous message |
as u sataed about that product using some special alloy or sine waves ..
I do not know what micro (u) stated, I stated that maybe they used pseudo sine waves. pseudo sine waves is a controlled train of pulses of increasing, then decreasing width. For the rest: I usually quote what I respond to, but there is no way I'm going to quote capitals. Saif, there is a language problem here. Know-how (with the dash) is an expression that specifically refer to certain knowledge in a special field. I'll try to explain As an example, an engineer in the office next to mine spent 6 months trying to build a switching power supply cheaper and equally good to what we buy from a PS manufacturer and, in the end, had to give up because he did not have the know-how (he did know how, but did not have the know-how). Nobody, at lest not me (and I'm sure neither Kai) "teased" you for not having a scope, we merely stated that without one you were fighting your problem with your eyes closed. Erik |
