#109414 - No varying load at additional winding! Responding to: ???'s previous message |

though the same scheme works well when the output is sampled directly from the output winding taps where load is actually connected, but dont know why its not working when sensed from a additional winding of o/p transformer. The reason why it does not work with being connected to additional winding is, that voltage drop at main output winding due to increased load cannot be detected by the additional winding!! Because the load at additional winding is always constant! You have a varying load at main output winding but a constant load at additional winding. So, you cannot keep output voltage constant with this scheme. Take the main output winding for the feedback. Kai |
