Inserted pullups on P1.0 and P1.1 or not port1 is used as output no nead to pull it up,it is not used as input you have to use pullup as it is used as output!, if you you use the pin as an input, it depands upon the driver circuit wheather you will use the pull-ups or not. please make it clear that on these pins there is no internal active pull up as compared to others, when port outputs a zero output driver conducts and sinks current, but when you output a '1' the driver just turns off ,there is nothing that can source current so think this as if pin is just floating. can you measure a voltage on a floating pin? what is the size of your reset cap?
