Dear Shivani, it is already told that there is absolutely no problem with your code. As this code is there in the startup.a51 from keil and almost all people use it for their projects, I see no reason for the failure of the code. There is some problem with your hardware and you need to check it thoroughly. Please clear few things Whether 1. Inserted pullups on P1.0 and P1.1 or not 2. Tried new processor or not. 3. Used few LEDs or not. 4. Inserted new small routines for ports operation or not (As I said in my previous post) 5. Give some more info about your hardware. (How and what of the board) 6. Most important, have you checked each connections with the help of continuity meter? Please let us know what additional efforts you taken? What sort of combinations you used. You received lot of great suggestions from the forumites as far as a newbie concerned. So how you used them? Regards Sarang |
