The way your post reads (at least to me) is that the "dedicated" 4 pins are in the plug. Erik said: For debugging, 1 pin is enough, 3 pins wasted.
is it a "waste" that you can debug, if you can not do "automated testing"? As told by yourself previously, JTAG is in NO WAY bound to debugging (except that if it is already there, it CAN be used for debugging, of course). JW |
