We've been using the Xilinx 'Parallel Cable IV' to program the CPLD during assembly, and it works fine. But once the unit is closed up, it is extremely difficult to open back up to access the programming connector. We need to be able to make field revisions to the CPLD via the serial port on the uP.
not seeing the forest for the trees or what? why not just make the "programming connector" accessible without opening the box? Erik |
