#105775 - Dual battery Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks your Steve,
Why do you distinguish between "acid" and "lead acid" batteries ? I thin kth egel acid cells charge the same as ordinary ones. Because that was the only thing that could came to my mind. You mean if i use a second acid battery i will have the same probelm ? Have you seen the special sequencers you can get for carputers that protect them during cranking ? I have a link somewhere - DashPC ? ??? No i didn't seem , i'll search on sequencers to see what i'll find. I have seen DC PC power supply DC/DC converters which could run as low as 7 volt but i made modification on an ATX power supply and it runs well until 10V.Second battery is the simplest thing that came to my mind. Take a look at a UK group http://www.abmcc.co.uk I tried to go there but it seems such a domain name is not existed. I tried Google and there was no info about it.Would you please confirm if there is a misspelling in the website's name ? Farshid |
