This looks like a bad battery, which became so high ohmic that the switching noise from generator cannot be sufficiently suppressed. Normally, a good and full battery is so low ohmic, that it presents a short circuit for the noise. Battery is almost new , It is a wet acid 60AH battery and about one month old.My ignition problems made me to satrt my car sometimes by a jump start from another vehicle.Once i was jump starting i connected the wires invcersely.It took about 1 minute for me to notice that.After that it took a long time for the battery to become charged again.Battery is not perorming well in maintaining the charge since then. Here is the current vehicle's electrical system schematics : As Steve already mentioned, charging two batteries is problematic. Can you give us a schematic, which shows the whole connections arround the two batteries? Both You and Steve are right.Today due to a short circuit i've had to remove the spare battery.Tonight when i took a ride I noticed that the no Load battery voltage raised to 14.4v and full electrical load at idle lead to 13.6 min. ! This would charge the battery much better than before.This have something to do with the Interal resistance of the lead acid comparing to the Acid battery i thought. The arrangement of the two diodes D1 and D2 shows another disadvantage: The ignition system is no longer connected directly to battery, if these diodes don't conduct. I'll have to remove those diodes ! Now i just realize what was the reason that I didn't had this much of Noise problems before! Connect a strong capacitor across D3. Become the spikes smaller then? What shows the scope directly at supply line of ignition system? There is no D3 installed currently.I just put that in a dashed box to ask is it good to place it there ! I'll have to try adding a capacitor , but it seems that I've gone the wrong way by placing these diodes there.I have to replace them with a Relay. The signal at the Coil was something like this : There was ringing after the diodes ,right at the primary coil supply pin.If my memory recals correctly it was something like this : Before the diodes : Farshid |
