#102875 - video output Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The video output of the 450 is regular NTSC, is it not?
If your running it through a modulator to channel 3 on a TV... I was looking at those 4" color LCD displays in Jameco and figuring they would be easier to haul around than a heavy TV, then the obvious hit me - its not going to use any color information. Craig, first of all I do trust your calculations; but if you have yet to connect all of these devices at once, how do you know that it will be able to handle them at once? I guess I'm still too amazed to accept the effeciency of using an 8051 to "emulate" a video card. I know, I'm in denial. In Myke's book, it shows he has reached limits of doing this and goes into saying about how he is limited in the amount of text he can display; I believe it was earlier in a post here it was said that the display output is much improved upon Myke's design - I can't wait to see the code as to how this is implemented. |
