If you need support, I volunteer. I can handle some OS code. (Actually, I was planning to port an RTOS to 52. I was doing it for a custom dsp processor and was parallelly thinking of doing it for a P89C51RD2 based board that I developed long ago. Once I finish with it, I'd give it to you for scrutiny. The footprint of the OS was around 15k for our DSP processor with a ported version of gcc that did not support target-specific optimizations).
