hi,
one of projects we have done here is video platform for gambling. It has next final specifications: MCU: SiLabs C8051F120 (128kb program flash, 8kb XRAM, upto 100MIPS) Memory: - 2Mb of main purpose memory; - 2Mb of video memory; - 8Mb of dataflash memory (via SPI); - MMC slot for cards; - 32kb of NV memory (Ramtron FRAM) via I2C bus; Video: - VGA 640x480; - two video layers: background and foreground with transparency; - two playfields at each layer; - palette: 256 independent colours for each layer; each colour is translated to truecolour 24-bit RGB via programmable LUTs; - alpha channel (bright control) for each layer; DMA: - one channel upto 53Mb/s transfer rate; - FIFO implemented; - four modes of both source and destinator: off/MCU/main_memory/video_memory. Sound: two channels via 12-bit DACs; 2+2 Watt output; RTC; RS-232; RS-485; 1-Wire isolated interface; 24 input isolated lines; 24 output isolated lines with high-voltage open drain. Here is the image:
This is commercial project and so I must not provide schematic and firmware; nevertheless if somebody are interested then I can provide ideas and suggestions how-to-do. Regards, Oleg |
